11 May 11. second day

Today we met at Exchange Dublin at 3, and screened and talked about the 3 minute clips that the participants brought in. We looked at several clips some of which were the participants' own work, and had a great discussion about the city and its filmic representations. We also looked at some of the films made in the previous workshop in July 2010.

After our coffee break, we pinned up and looked at the concept boards of some of the projects. (Most people work individually.) We tried to come up with ideas which would improve the proposals. This was also an opportunity to talk about how we saw Dublin and how we would frame the city through film. Dublin has been in the center of the discussions since yesterday, together with the theme, peripheries.

We might have Paddy Breathnach tomorrow for his input. Fingers crossed. On Thursday afternoon, we will look at and talk about the first footage.
